Dr Chris Moulton

Professor of Emergency Medicine

Dr Chris Moulton has been a Consultant at the Royal Bolton Hospital for over 27 years. He was the Vice-President of the Royal College of Emergency Medicine for six years (from 2013 to 2019) and is now the National Clinical Lead for the Getting It Right First Time (GIRFT) for Emergency Medicine and the Integrated Urgent and Emergency Care (iUEC) programmes.

 

Chris is also the designer and the current guardian of the national Summary Emergency Department Indicator Table (SEDIT). In the past, he has been the Secretary of the European Society for Emergency Medicine for seven years and Senior Lecturer in Emergency Medicine at the Victoria University of Manchester.
