About the course
A number of exercises have been devised so that Trainees, Advance Nurse Practitioners and Consultants in Plastic, ENT and Maxillofacial surgery can complete a variety of facial soft tissue surgery simulations based on the more common skin flap procedures encountered. Delegates will be working in individually on pigs head covering the following:
Educational aims:
Gain experience by simulating:
Advancement and Transposition Flaps
Rhomboid Flap, Bilobed Flap, Rotation Flap
V-Y Flaps
The course provides:
Instruction in the use of instrumentation
Physiology of skin healing, ageing and aesthetic lines of the face.
“Hands on” practical anatomical and surgical skills experience
An attendance certificate
